Belonging theme started this week. New children have started to belong to Bubbles by settling in . All children are back in routine and seems happy. We read our English book “Sometimes I feel sunny” to understand and identify different kind of emotions followed by a circle game “Pass the emotion”. Children were engaged and participated good. They also learned the English song “Ants go marching” and focused on counting the number of ants.
In German circle time, children got opportunity to learn a song about rules and read a story about the fears of crocodile and a girl.
We had our first sports class after the summer break and children had a good time. On forest day kids got quality time to explore woods, slugs and snails in Bavaria park.
Art and craft kicked off this week by starting crafting individual hedgehogs, paperfolding fishes and learning positive & negative spaces by tearing and pasting in large group work.
Children spend plenty of time in free play, table games and forming new friendships. We celebrated a birthday on Friday and had a wonderful time giving hugs and wishes.
