The new theme “Autumn” started this week. Children sang their favorite Autumn song “Der Herbst ist da” https://youtu.be/cMgEzAu-yFw and talked about the colors, nuts and animals in Autumn season. On Tuesday, we took our bus trip to flower garden in Westpark and kids used their prior learning and transformed into their free play creativity with natural material.
Pre schoolers did their German preschool and learnt the difference in loud
and quiet, big and small while speaking and writing the words. English morning circle was more focused on learning days, dates and children learnt a new song “Tiny Tim” https://www.youtube.com/watch?
On Friday we read a cute English story “Mouse first fall” followed with learning new words, speaking in full sentences and finished off our morning circle with a game called “Mouse & Minka”. Children participated with good concentration and enjoyed it a lot.
Rest of the whole week we explored free play, painting leaf colors, drawing the
chestnuts replica, math game with chestnuts. The highlights of this week were chestnuts and our newly joined boy and his family 
. Overall it was a short happy week with some new friendships on the way.
