This week we had the final stretch for the St. Martin songs. And the children are already singing along so well. We celebrated a 3rd birthday. and a 4th birthday with delicious chocolate cake and muffins. The music teacher was with us for the first time. With a “good morning song” and the sound story “the hedgehog” with rattles and wooden chimes. The song “autumn wind” was danced with colorful cloths. Lots of St. Martin’s lanterns were made. The children painted their lanterns with 2 different colors. Watercolor paint and aqua tint (this one glows beautifully).
In preschool we learned rhymes and we rhymed with animal names. The preschool children made their lanterns together.
A morning circle took place outside. The children practiced the days of the week.
