This week we started our new theme CHRISTMAS. The staff and children are getting excited about all the Christmas crafts and activities we are going to
do. .
This week we took the children to Marien Platz, we saw the very tall and impressive Christmas tree, looked at the display windows at Galeria. It is always a highlight in our calendar to see there new display every Christmas. We enjoyed some ‘kinderpunch’ and candied almonds. The children as always were on there best behaviour walking around the markets and travelling on the U-bahn.
We did a STEM activity this week. We did salt painting. The children painted with just water at first and then we added salt and used a hair dryer to see their art appear on the paper.
2TBS salt , 4TBS hot water- mix together and paint. Use dark paper for the best results.
At MTV the children were doing mountaineering, hanging from a cable car and parachuting. Your little daredevils had so much fun.
Our week is always filled with loads of reading, playing and crafting.
