This week the children were as busy as the elves in Santa’s workshop, crafting and wrapping gifts for our Christmas party on Thursday. The children made decorations for the room and practiced lots of fine motor skill in various crafting activities. On our party, we came together to celebrate the teachers and parents and take a moment to be grateful of the combined efforts that give the children a nurturing and rich learning experience here at Bubbles. Over the last weeks the children have been readily practicing their singing and were impressive in their performance to the families. It shows their interest in participating and sense of community as they came together to sing in both English and German and we look forward to learning many more songs throughout the school year. Thank you to all the families that could join and for the wonderful support to tidy up after the event as well as all the delicious foods you brought to share. What a wonderful way to finish off together before the break.

In MTV, the children took part in a winter wonderland parkour course filled with lots of fun festive physical skill building and fun.

In preschool the children practiced cognitive skills and fine motor development along with German language comprehension training.

In English the children practiced singing “Jingle Bells” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” along with discussions on the Christmas season traditions with Kamishibai storybooks.

The children are thoroughly enjoying the advent calendar and sharing with each other the small gift they receive.
