This week in Kindergarten, we continued with our Butterflies theme.
In Morning Circle the children learnt two new butterfly songs, ‘Schmetterling du kleines Ding’ and ‘Fly, Fly Little Butterfly’.
The children also made some beautiful handprint butterflies.
This week, we had a wonderful workshop with Sandra at the forest. The children had a spotters guide with pictures showing signs and tracks of animals e.g. leaves nibbled by caterpillars, tunnels in dead wood made by beetles or slime trails left by slugs. The children had great fun searching for as many signs as they could.
Our Sports session was lots of fun and non-stop movement, as the children completed circuit after circuit running, jumping and climbing.
