This week we continued with our Easter theme. Monday was busy finishing Easter nests, cards and decorating eggs. On Tuesday we were very egg-cited! The easter bunny left a basket and a message with lots of great activities. We played egg and spoon races, easter egg hunts (only one half is still hidden somewhere in Kindergarten!), pulling carrots and danced to the Chicken dance. We decorated paper eggs, made some woven eggs and completed the easter bunny’s challenge to match all the broken eggs. By the end of the day we were thoroughly egg-austed! (sorry)
In morning circle the children practiced counting, singing 'Osterhasen' and playing instruments. We also talked about how to take care of each other.
At sports the children completed a pacours and a dice game. On Friday the children had lots of fun splashing in the puddles, making mud pies and building bug castles!
