This week preschool children got another self - resilience lesson from Dagmar and showed more confidence in asking for help, vocal about their boundaries and speaking up for themselves. They are learning group and individual behaviors and how to engage with them. On the other hand younger kids got the opportunity to take U Bahn and enjoyed a nice playground.
Tuesday, we took a walk to Isar and discussed about the high rise muddy water which is dangerous for swimming due to floods. During discussion children understand how too much of rain can affect peoples’ lives. Later at the Wiese children did a group activity which is designed to build and strengthen their trust and relationships.
Road safety and transport topic has been going on in the kindergarten in various ways- children got the opportunity to paint car tracks with toy car, they revised all safety rules and keeps on looking some amazing road safety cards hanging in our room. They also enjoyed free play with huge safety sigh boards and created their own role play of traffic police.
Rest of the week, children enjoyed power of relaxation, meditation and yoga in their quite time along with their pedagogical table games. Sports was fun as usual and their favourite sports teacher is back which brought a big smile on childrens’ faces.
Overall we all had a fun busy week with some sunshine and children sharing their Fanfest Music updates.
